Desiree’ DallaGuardia

Desiree’ DallaGuardia, born and raised Colorado Native has strong roots in Gardner as four generations back reined from Huerfano County on both her mother and fathers side.  

After graduating from Rye High School in 2005, Desiree’ hit the road as a gypsy to explore life in the Western United States and the Hawaiian Islands. It was on the Island of Maui that  Desiree’ attended the Maui Academy of the Healing Arts to attain her Massage Therapy license in 2012. Shortly after getting licensed she continued on to study with David Morin and Health Matters Seminars, an advanced training in developing a clinical practice to treat  specific musculo-skeletal pathologies. Desiree’ repeated the 6 courses several times before becoming an instructor along Mr. Morin. Together they traveling the United States teaching already licensed Massage Therapists this advanced trade. 

In 2017 Desiree’ moved back to Colorado and found passion in being a wildland firefighter for the United State Forest Service and State of Colorado, that passion has since fizzled out.  Desiree’ has held a private practice at La Clinica for the past three years serving the Huerfano County Community while also working in Pueblo at Fit Instincts as a Massage Therapist and  at Parkview and Saint Mary Corwin Emergency Rooms as an Emergency Medical Technician. 

Desiree’ has a strong passion for continuing to work and grow the operation of La Clinica to maintain life in the historical building that honors the rich history that lives in the people who built it, ran it and the patients that were treated there.
